In this section there is the basics of fire prevention and the action required if there is a fire. A detailed list of fire extinguishers and their applications , both pre and post 1999 is also included

Bomb Threats

Covers the actions required by staff in the event of a bomb threat

Evacuations

Covers the actions required by staff in the event of an evacuation.

Personal Threat

Covers the actions required by staff in the event of a personal threat situation.

Internal Emergency

Covers the actions required by staff in the event of an internal emergency.

External Disaster

Covers the actions required by staff in the event of an external disaster.

Assessment

Each element of Fire and Emergency Procedures has a multichoice assessment. Satff must obtain a 100% to move to the next section or to complete the course.

Reporting

Health facilities adopting the Fire and Emergency Procedures resource will receive a report of staff who completed the training online.
